How to setup Hotmail in iPhone?

Hotmail account can be setup in iPhone in two ways, using Mail –automatically and manually. If the user desires to use an email provider iCloud, Google, or Yahoo then Mail can be automatically set up just with email address and password.

Choose Account

• The user needs to go to Setting, then Mail and then Add Account
• If the user can see Hotmail provider then he or she can tap it to add the account automatically or else need to tap Other to add it manually

Set up Hotmail Account Automatically

• After selecting the Hotmail account provider, the user needs to choose his or her email address and password
• Then Click on Next
• The user needs to wait for Mail Verification
• Then select the content for synchronisation
• Select Save

Set up Hotmail Account Manually

1. The user needs to be aware of the email setting in iPhone. In case he or she is not aware, then need to contact the Hotmail Customer Support
2. Then Add Account, then Other
3. Then click Add Mail Account
4. Then needs to enter the Name, Email Address, Password
5. Then Click Next. In this Hotmail will try to find the email setting and finish the account setup
6. If the iPhone succeed in finding the email setting then the user needs to Click Done to complete the account setup
7. But if the iPhone fails to find then the user needs to choose IMAP or POP for the new account. Then enter the information for Incoming and the Outgoing Mail Server and click Next
8. If the account setup is correct, click Save to finish else need to contact iPhone customer support for help
